Each week there’s opportunities for us to meet together, in fellowship with each other, serving others, and worshipping Christ.
On Tuesday afternoon we meet for a program of fellowship and social activities – from meeting to play games, sing songs, have a good natter and a cup of tea with friends. Once a month we hold a church lunch and invite a speaker to share with us about their work. Everyone is welcome to join us.
On Wednesday evenings we meet for a program of prayer and Bible study. Twice a month we gather to study a passage from the Bible, and twice a month to pray – for persecuted Christians around the world as part of the Open Doors network, and for healing and peace for ourselves in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Everyone is welcome.
Every week on Thursday we are encouraged to pray as a fellowship together, using some notes that are distributed ahead of time. Some of us gather at Christ Church to do this together, and others use the notes in their own time.
In addition we have a Prayer Chain – a group of folk who can be called upon to pray, sometimes at short notice when difficult situations arise in folks lives.
